Our Story

Elaine B Jewelry is a showroom and studio in Ferndale, Michigan inspired by the Earth and architecture. We create modern, everyday jewelry that is minimal, yet detail-driven. Born in 2010 in a small light filled studio in downtown Charlottesville Virginia, EBJ found its footing at craft fairs and small boutiques. In 2017 our studio relocated to metro Detroit.  Finding inspiration in the history and architecture and camaraderie with the community we have grown into our studio and showroom on the historic Woodward corridor. Keeping true to our roots with minimalist, geometric influences we now offer fine jewelry, alternative engagement and wedding bands alongside accessible, everyday designs.

In The Studio

When you walk into EBJ you’ll hear hammering in the distance, and 90s hip hop on the stereo.  With big bright windows our shop is filled with plants, handmade goods, quirky cards and glittering crystals intermingled with jewelry. Look just beyond the fine jewelry cases and you can see our work space, jewelers benches, a soldering station and our office are in plain sight. You’ll beable to talk with and see the people who are making your jewelry. Time your visit right and you might meet a studio dog or giggling toddler.

SOURCING, ETHOS, TESTIMONIALS & FAQ’s

We believe spaces should be inspiring, and communities should be supportive. In our studio we design for individuals, partner with nonprofits and work with artists to further these goals. We source first from local and then from American companies. We take pride in knowing where our metal and stones come from, maintaining relationships with miners, stone cutters and companies that run transparent supply chains.
