It's that time of year again, yikes! But this time I want to introduce you to some of my favorite local, handmade products.
You will fall in love with Awl Snap's soft, buttery and brilliantly designed leather goods. You may have seen Herb Angel around town, but just wait until you sample her creamy lotions and course scrubs made from herbs grown right here in Cville.
Like usual we will have lots of wine, thoughtful hors d'oeuvres and of course jewelry.
Give new life to a single earring or impossibly tangled necklace in this three-hour workshop on remaking your old jewelry. Participants are asked to "mine" their homes in search of outdated, broken, or unloved jewelry. We will then use these pieces to learn about jewelry design, where materials come from, and different techniques of assembly. In this workshop you will create a few pieces of fresh, ready-to-wear jewelry made of 100% recycled materials.
The event will take place December 3 from 6-9PM at The Bridge PAI. Wine will be provided, along with an EBJ trunk show. Hosted by me!
