Warranty and Product Care
Taking care of your jewelry not only preserves its beauty but also ensures its longevity. Whether it's a cherished family heirloom or a recent addition to your collection, proper care will keep your jewelry sparkling for years to come.
Warranty
For Custom Designs and Jewelry over $500
1 Year Warranty
- Does not cover the center stone, heirloom stones or any stone with a retail value over $500. (We recommend you insure your jewelry).
- Covers the replacement of existing stone type 2mm or under.
- Covers all of the metal in the design, misshapen shank, settings, chain, etc. that comes from manufacturer's defect or normal wear and tear. (Determined by EBJ jewelers).
- Covers cleaning and repolishing.
- One free resizing additional resizes will incur a fee.
- If a ring has been engraved and needs to be resized we do not cover the cost of re engraving.
- Repair from other jewelers will void the warranty.
- Warranty is only valid for the original owner.
Shipping
The customer is responsible for packing and shipping the jewelry back for repair or resizing. We recommend shipping with UPS, including insurance and a signature.
For Jewelry under $500
6 Month Warranty
- Covers all of the metal in the design, chain, earring posts, plating, etc. that comes from manufacturer's defect or normal wear and tear. (Determined by EBJ jewelers).
- Covers loose stones and tightening settings. Lost stones may or may not be able to be replaced depending on the design. If they are able to be replaced they will usually incur a fee determined case by case.
- Covers cleaning and repolishing.
- Repair from other jewelers will void the warranty.
- Warranty is only valid for the original owner.
- We do not recreate or repair old or discontinued designs.
Shipping
The customer is responsible for packing and shipping the jewelry back for repair or resizing. We recommend shipping with UPS, including insurance and a signature.
Repairs After Warranty
For repair for custom and stock fine jewelry after the warranty, EBJ will perform repairs due to normal wear for the lifetime of the product. Most repairs will incur a fee determined case by case.
Repairs from normal wear could include:
- Cleaning
- Resize
- Prong retipping
- Loose prongs
- Repolishing
- Slightly misshapen bands
- Rhodium plating

Product Care
To keep your jewelry looking its best and brightest here are a few tips:
Storing Jewelry
Store your jewelry in the box that it came in or a jewelry box with segmented compartments. Hang necklaces to avoid tangling.
Cleaning Your Jewelry
Use the polishing cloth to shine your jewelry and prevent tarnish. Use EBJ’s foaming cleaner to maintain your stone jewelry.
Avoid Harsh Chemicals
Use EBJ’s foaming cleaner and brush to clean behind stones and hard to reach places.
