Tarik Records - Cincinnati
This store is a true throwback to 1990s nostalgia, if you’re in Cincinnati be sure to stop in this gem located just around the corner from our Oakley location. Besides having a great selection of records and merchandise, it’s worth stopping by just to meet JC. Since we opened our Cincinnati store in May, he’s become a fast friend. His love of gold chains and knowledge of neighborhood antics makes us smile every time.
Not Sorry Goods - Ferndale
This edgy and inspiring shop is right next door to us on Woodward in metro Detroit. Jess and DyMin are amazing!! Their studio is right inside their store, just like us. With a brand built on feeling good, looking good, and doing good - unapologetically, it’s hard not to love Not Sorry’s ethos. By upcycling pre-loved garments with their bold designs, they focus on eco-friendly materials and sourcing ethically-made goods. Their intention is to be a leading sustainable & inclusive retailer of the future.
Katie Bramlage at the Rust Belt - Ferndale
You may recognize Katie’s work from spending time in our shop. We sell Katie’s ceramic dishes in both of our locations! We really appreciate the way Katie speaks about her work- “I make products for treasure-seekers like you who are learning the art of slowing down and crave to reconnect with the essentials.” We love her wabi sabi aesthetic and cave girl vibes. You can also spy her work featured in many of our photographs!
Detroit Rose - Detroit
This is a one-stop shop for all sorts of self care essentials! Their skincare products are made from natural, organic, wildcrafted & non-toxic ingredients free from all those harsh chemicals you sometimes find in drugstore products! They also don’t test on animals. This shop is one we love to support! A great selection of products partnered with a great mission.
The Spotted Goose - Cincinnati
Another Cincinnati neighbor, just down the street in Oakley Square! The Spotted Goose is a favorite for shopping for clothes for the kiddos. It’s not often you find a wonderfully curated children’s boutique, so we had to add it to our guide! Perfect for outfitting your little ones for vacation, photoshoots, and all the moments in between.
Rooted - Cincinnati
This Oakley staple is known for its vegan offerings. With everything from smoothie bowls to bagels, this spot is a go-to for lunch for our Cincinnati employees. We love Rooted so much that we actually give out gift cards to our Cincy ladies for our monthly shout-out program. This is a one-stop shop for all sorts of self care essentials!
Ferne Boutique - Detroit
Fun fact: EBJ actually did a pop up for 6 months with Ferne in 2018 in downtown Detroit before they opened their store. And, one of our team members is great friends with their visual merchandiser! We love Ferne Boutique because they really have something for every occasion. Ferne Boutique is thoughtfully curated with a great selection of quality brands. As a women-owned business, we love their motto “we are women, who believe in empowering other women.”
Eldorado General Store - Detroit
A member of our Ferndale team found this shop and has loved it for a long time! Located in Detroit’s oldest neighborhood, Corktown, this brick flatiron building was built in 1870. Eldorado gave this historic gem a makeover in 2013 when it opened its doors. Ever since, they’ve been working passionately to share their values with the community- putting people and planet before profit while preserving art, stories, history, and wisdom from all over the world.
Modern Natural Baby - Ferndale
A staple to moms in Metro Detroit and beyond! Shop their curated collection of clothing, toys, games and lifestyle for kids of all ages. Funny enough, the owners actually live across the street from Elaine and our team member, Katie. We can’t recommend their products enough for all your little one’s needs.
Corbé Ceramics - EBJ Ferndale Location Only
This holiday season EBJ is honored to once again be the only retailer to carry Corbé ceramics! This husband and wife team has a close personal connection to Elaine… They are great people making really great pieces!
