Wear your jewelry often. When you're not wearing it, carefully hang necklaces or store jewelry in a hard box to avoid bending and tangling.
You can clean most jewelry with soap and water with a toothbrush, or a jewelry ultra sonic.
To prevent tarnish, use a polishing cloth or a liquid dip (read instructions first if cleaning stones and never dip pearls).
Or you can always send your piece back to be cleaned.
Material Sources
We source first from local and then from American companies. We take pride in knowing where our metal and stones come from, maintaining relationships with miners, stone cutters and companies that run transparent supply chains as much as possible.
14k Gold - Recycled metal.
18k Vermeil - A thick coat of 18k gold plated over sterling silver.
14k Goldfill - 14k gold fused onto brass.
Sterling Silver - Recycled metal.
Oxidized Silver - A patina is applied over sterling silver to give it a dark or antique look. Raised areas reveal silver naturally over time; click here for more info.
Shipping & Returns
Shipping
In-stock styles will ship in 2-3 days. Made to order fine jewelry styles, including resizing will take 3-5 weeks to make and ship. Made to order everyday jewelry will take up to 2 weeks to make and ship. Please refer to the product listing for an estimate on the production and shipping time for your specific piece. Contact us if you have any questions about a shipping date.
As a default we currently use UPS for domestic shipments and UPS or DHL for international. Please send and email to info@elainebjewelry.com if another service is needed.
All fine jewelry orders over $500 will include insurance coverage.
We absolutely love mail, packaging and details, so you can be assured that your jewelry will be beautifully and lovingly packaged.
Returns
We want you to love and wear your jewelry. We will work with you to make sure it is exactly what you want.
Orders can be returned for a full refund within 10 days of purchase; after that you may exchange or receive store credit. We may offer a reduced credit for pieces exchanged after 90 days.
